Upcoming Federal Green Party Leadership Contest
Hi Spadina—Fort York!
Exciting times are ahead with the Leadership Contest in full swing! Your vote will decide the next leader for our Party. We know there is a lot of information out there so we are here to help.
Below we have compiled a list of the candidates and relevant events for you to follow the leadership race. This will be a ranked ballot, so keep that in mind while doing your research.
Just as a reminder, you need to be an active member as of September 3, 2020 and 14 years old as of October 3, 2020.
The vote will take place online between September 26 and October 3. The party will be sending more information to eligible voters on online voting in the coming days.
Be on the lookout for our next email regarding our upcoming Annual General Meeting and Nomination Contest (dates and times TBC) to select the Green Party of Canada candidate for our riding.

August 27, 2020 - Last day to request mail-in ballot
September 3, 2020 - Deadline to be a voting member
September 26, 2020 - Online voting opens
